Bambi is a lovely big dog. She is a lab mix, a dominant dog who does not like female dogs, small dogs or cats and is unpredictable in her behavior.

She is not a beginner dog because although she is sweet, she needs an experienced and leading hand. She knows no boundaries and still has to learn a lot, which is very important especially because of her size. Bambi is willing to learn as she is very smart and because she just wants to please her human, she will learn very quickly. Bambi likes children – but these have to be a little bigger.
You can tell that she had a hard life. She’s been made to have a lot of puppies and the condition of her front teeth speaks volumes of the hunger when she only had bones to chew.
Story:
Carmen Dodi, a Romanian animal activist whom we support in the rehoming of some of her animals, was asked by the people who had rescued Bambi whether she could take Bambi in. With her yard being totally overcrowded and bursting at all seams, Bambi was secured in a private shelter.
Bambi is now neutered and fully vaccinated.
She is heart worm free. She has dilatative cardiomyopathy and will be on medication for life. With this treatment, Bambi is ready to travel.
We are looking for a place for Bambi with a large male or a single place with no other dogs, in an experienced family.
All dogs are thoroughly screened and treated for vector borne diseases and parasites. They are healthy, fully vaccinated and ready for adoption.
