Ready to travel! 🍀💖

Sweetie  ❤ was born circa 01.11.2022. She is spayed and tested positive for FIV.
She has settled very well into her new foster home! She moves freely and confidently without fear. She quickly integrated into the friendly pack of cats and emerged as a sweet cuddly purring cat.
History:
A good hearted old lady (approximately 90 years old) appeared in a veterinary practice with which we work with with a cat in a life-threatening condition.
Her tail was chopped off and her right back leg was badly injured. She was dehydrated and malnourished. She needed help urgently.
The vet immediately took the cat in and provided her life-saving first aid. She kept the cat in the clinic because the lady didn’t have the proper conditions to care for the cat.
It was a long and difficult battle since she was more dead than alive but Sweetie won.
The orthopedist who examined her gave us two options:
If the foot heals and it does not have pain, it should remain so with a slight impediment. However, if she continues to be in pain, he would recommend an amputation.
❗️Luckily Sweetie is not in pain and she will keep her leg❗️
Now we are hopefully looking for a place for this lovely FIV+ cat.
All cats are thoroughly screened and treated for vector borne diseases and parasites. They are healthy, fully vaccinated and ready for adoption.
